Our 2011 parklife Suggestions

With so many cool acts, we are left with hard decisions on our hands, thank god, we have arranged what we think is the best arrangement of acts we are hanging to see.

Starts with Kimbra at 1.45pm, nice and early, we are really digging this girl, it is only going to be a matter of time before she really blows up, as there are already glimpse of success with her recent collaboration with Gotye.

3.45 – Death from Above 1979 with JFK, after being on hiatus for quite some time, DFA return with what we are expecting something really fresh as nothing really new has been released since the 2006 break up. So this will be one hell of an experienced, and you better believe it!

6pm – Our almighty French star, Sebastien tellier, which clearly needs no introduction, this guy is a mega star, – Featuring in 2008 Eurovision, Tellier plays for the first time in an Australian Festival, and we don’t think he will be back any time soon after Parklife, which is why, we are emphasising why you MUST see this act, disco as you have never heard before.

There is quite a clash with Tellier and Digitalism being at 6.45, but since we have seen Digitalism a numerous amount of time, and does deliver an exceptional set, we will stay bound to Tellier until he has completely finished then head straight to see digitalism to catch the final minutes of their set which follows MSTRKRFT @ 7.45pm.

7.45pm MSTRKRFT, boy oh boy, for the life of you, do not miss them, they will rock the foundation of Parklife, these guys are incredible, so cool, pioneers of electronic music along side Justice, Boys noize etc. These guys are the real deal. Check em out.

8.45pm – Well we surely do love Soulwax, – and Simian mobile Disco sit at par level to us with Soulwax, Catch them at the Cave arena. SMD are what we consider, musical genius, so much thought into their music – are at the closing stage of Parklife, all the music enthusiast, hipsters will be there, we are sure of it. Incredible way to end the Parklife celebration. – Surely you would choose SMD over Duck Sauce, if not.. then this whole article is irrelevant to you.

10pm – Fakeclub, Parklife Official Afterparty. – If you know what is good for you, head there, you never know what surprises could be lurking at Camp Fake.

At least you could watch Tellier for 45 and then go somewhere else. But for me it’s hard to choose between Digitalism and Feed Me. Just cause I’ve seen Digitilaism a lot and their always amazing and I’ve never seen Feed Me but his music is amazing and I’ve heard so many good things. Also, It’s a huge bummer that Tensnake is playing the same time as Sebastian. Obviously, SebastiAn though, might play new Oizo, Surkin or Justice or just his own devastating things.
DFA1979 is gonna be huge though. Please don’t riot Sydney. I don’t want to get pepper sprayed watching one of my favorite bands like I did at SXSW in Austin,TX.
