The ODDWORD set to Drop FIRE

It’s been quite some time since we have heard anything from The ODDWORD, well, to be more precise something from the Oddword we deem impressive electro (as we have high expectations from these Belgium juggernauts). But this is it, FIRE is about to be released on Mahtrasher records on the 7th of October and after a fair amount of plays of both Fire & Ouch originals, they are extremely impressive – We can say this; this is what we wanted from the ODDWORD, this level of quality & production.

The sounds being used are technical, great structure, great choice of build ups, and of course the drops are to blow you away. This is different, unique, and by far the most impressive piece of work we have heard by the ODDWORD, it’s almost the time creating early tunes have all built up for this release, – if this was always planned from their end, well hats of to the ODDWORD, they have done something special here, proving that each EP is surpassing every release, which to our opinion is extremely hard to do; – as we have seen so many fail, not today.

So much Rave on titled track ‘Ouch’, it starts in a bizaar way, with this strange melody line which feels off (it isn’t) which proves interesting, but the drops of this track are so big, it would shake the foundation of any dancefloor. ‘Very, and i mean VERY good Electro Rave‘.

Remixes by Autodidakt,  Haezer, Beat & Bang , Motor & Trashing Teenagers all are great , which accompanies the EP very well, but to be honest, you will be silly not to play the original as these are outright Winners for us. Goes to show sometimes Original Trumps over Remixes, which in most cases this doesn’t happen often. – All sensational remixes, i’m sure once you are bored spinning the originals, you can venture for diversity with the ‘remixes’
