Disco fans the world over can take to the streets in a frenzy of naked celebration this month, with Edwin Van Cleef finally releasing ‘Never be alone at night’.

It’s been two years (more or less) since Van Cleef released an EP and ‘Never be alone at night’ was well worth the wait.

You might even say it’s a welcome change  to this years string of works surrounded with hype, but inevitably have as much appeal as discharge sandwiched between two soggy wafers.

The lead single of the EP features vocals from Tom Gavin, lead singer of Chicago based band, Gemini Club. If you’re no stranger to Barretso’s remix of Gemini Club’s ‘Ghost’ you might be inclined to agree that Gavin has vocals that compliment Disco to no end.

There’s been some debate over which track on the EP is the show-stealer, ‘Never Be Alone’ or the second track, ‘Triton’. It’s up to you lot to decide! Either way, the EP doesn’t fall short of impressive; delivering the rolling waves of classy nu-disco you’d expect from Van Cleef.
