Running hot duo ‘Smacktown’ have returned with what we would call something innovative, something more than just music. Sydney siders Chico & Nery have surpassed the high expectations of the current fast moving industry to deliver something extravagant, Chapter 1 of their digital Comic Book with integrated music.

Surely you would be thinking, how does this all work? Just take a look at the above image to see the detailed comic strip of the 10 page, first chapter, of the Comic. It is quite sensational, we are already playing this intergrated soundtrack continuously as we keep typing. It is running again and again.

If you are familiar with what Smacktown are all about, you are in for a treat. Let’s keep this at an absolute discretion within the Smacktown Camp, they have unleashed something that completely blew us away. The production level of their music is top notch, 10/10 we say. Their lyrical rapping vocals which is what this duo does best is orchestrated with string based music? Surely you would be thinking ‘how does that work?’, well, it works just as well as high powered petrol in a super car! It is an absolute weapon of a combination. This is it, Smacktown have done it. They have found a superb compisition. As we sit here, captured by these pitch bending strings, we realise this music has expression, a high quality emotion injected into it’s soul.
